ConstructionSafe
OhOh! Ltd (OhOh Safety) is the data controller for ConstructionSafe (Android package com.ohohsafety.constructionsafe). This policy explains what we collect, who receives it, and how to delete it. It applies to ConstructionSafe, not to other OhOh Safety products.

2. Information we collect
Account
- Name and email from Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or a guest/anonymous sign-in
- Firebase user ID and, where used, a RevenueCat customer ID
Work you create in the app
- Risk assessments, RAMS, and other job documents you write
- Job profiles and hazard text you enter for AI drafting
- Company details, logos, and photos you attach
- AI usage and document counters used to enforce plan limits
Location used while you work
If you allow location, the app can read GPS to stamp coordinates, show weather, and look up a nearby hospital (OpenStreetMap Overpass; Google Places in builds that include a Places API key). Location is not used for advertising.
Speech
If you use speech-to-text, the device recogniser turns speech into text. ConstructionSafe keeps the text. It does not send audio recordings to OhOh Safety servers.
Device and crashes
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics
Payments
Subscription status comes from RevenueCat and Google Play or the App Store. We do not store card numbers.
3. AI drafting (Anthropic Claude)
If you use ConstructionSafe Pro AI assist, job details are sent to Anthropic Claude through Firebase Cloud Functions hosted in europe-west2. That typically includes the job profile and hazard text you entered, so Claude can draft risk-assessment wording for you to review.
Anthropic acts as a processor / service provider for this drafting. We do not sell that content. You remain responsible for checking the draft before you use it on site.
4. Where data is stored
- On your device
- In Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics) when you are signed in
5. Who receives data
We do not sell personal data. These processors receive only what they need to run ConstructionSafe:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions in europe-west2, Crashlytics): account, documents, usage counters, crash reports, and the AI function calls
- Anthropic: job profile and hazard text sent through those Cloud Functions to draft risk-assessment text
- OpenStreetMap Overpass: hospital lookup from your location, when you use that feature
- Google Places: nearby A&E lookup, only in builds that include a Places API key
- RevenueCat, Google Play, Apple: subscription status and restore purchases
- Google or Apple: sign-in
We do not run an advertising SDK. We do not use the Android advertising ID for ads.
6. How we use the information
- Provide ConstructionSafe, including backup of signed-in documents
- Draft risk-assessment text when you ask, via Anthropic Claude
- Enforce document and AI usage limits on the free or paid plan
- Show weather and maps, and look up a nearby hospital when you ask
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases
- Diagnose crashes
7. Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict processing where the law allows. You may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
To delete your account: Settings → Delete account in the app, or follow account deletion, or email info@ohohsafety.com.
8. Retention
We keep your data while the account is active. When you delete the account we remove the Firebase Auth user. Email us if cloud documents or AI usage counters remain, and we will delete the Firestore records we hold for that user id. Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, Anthropic, and Crashlytics keep records under their own policies. We may keep data if the law requires it.
9. Children
ConstructionSafe is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

We may update this policy. The current version is this page. The app also links here from Settings.
